Welcome to The Memorial Site of Joan Martz Rees
This site is created out of our love and memory of Joan Martz Rees. It is drawn from photographs of her life, excerpts from her notebooks, letters that people have sent, recordings of people telling stories about Joan, and other things we have collected.
We call it Aunt Blabby’s Blog because Mom wrote a humor column for Boulevard Magazine in the late 70’s and early 80’s called Aunt Blabby Speaks. It was the chronicle of her life as a house wife. It was received each month with great anticipation. People loved it!
